About Michael Wesson
Michael was a computer programmer for 15 years before becoming a Feldenkrais Practitioner. Michael developed serious chronic pain issues as a result of computer overuse syndrome. Michael was temporarily disabled and used the Feldenkrais Method to recover from his injuries. This has resulted in a passion for helping others learn how to use themselves effectively and comfortably to prevent or recover from discomfort. Michael taught Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes in Oakland and Berkeley for four years before moving to Fresno, CA in October of 2006. He taught classes and workshops in private practice at the UPAYA Center for Well Being in Oakland. He also taught at the Downtown Oakland YMCA, and in programs for retired adults at the Claremont House in Oakland and the Chaparral House in Berkeley. Michael also saw many clients in private for Functional Integration® sessions which he also intends to continue in his practice in Fresno. |
