Locomotion April 23 - May 21 Take your cue from the season--rise up and kick off the layers. From sedentary to active, from thought to action, you’ll gain what you need to move from here to there, easily, lightly, and enjoyably. Get ready for whatever the spring will surely bring.
Human Shock Absorber May 28 - June 25 Think of the big cats, apes, or even snakes. They spring, swing, and slither. Humans have a capacity to spring as well--to reach and walk and hike and run. From the way you plant your feet to the way you reach for apples in the tree, you will find your ability to move with flexibility, fluidity, and ease.
Slouching and Unslouching July 9 - August 6 You may have been taught to stand up straight, but good posture involves an easy readiness to bend, straighten, slouch, or stand tall. Fortunately, that easy readiness is yours for the taking if you master a few key moves, especially slouching. Discover your easy and elegant posture.
The above will be co-taught with Kim Cottrell, my Feldenkrais Practitioner colleague from the Vital Human Feldenkrais Clinic. There will be no breaks in this Wed & Fri schedule other than major holidays. You have a choice of Wed or Friday, no matter which day/location you sign up for.
